If you own or run a business in the UK

you must have a Health & Safety Plan.

Health and safety laws in the UK, and best practice principles are continually changing.

All those responsible for securing good standards of health and safety in their organisations need to be prepared for a wide range of issues, from the new fire regulations, business risk assessments, to corporate manslaughter .

Those unfamiliar with the principles and language of business risk management may become marginalized and left behind. Those who can understand and apply its principles,  and can communicate with other business disciplines,  and have the opportunity to be much more effective.

"Well informed" occupational health and safety practitioners with cost effective and user-friendly systems are better able to make the case for the consideration of health and safety risks within the wider context of business risk.

At "Health and Safety Systems", we aim to help health and safety permeate through both management and employees enabling them to understand the concept of business risk management, and understand where the management of health and safety risk sits within the business and its risk framework.

We also encourage all those involved to use our system and its knowledge to influence the decision-making process and employee attitudes.

After all, health and safety is the legal responsibility of both management and employee under (The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, and The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999).
